Hi members
Just a quick introduction from myself to the forum. My name is Rob and I'm new to angling. Spent the last season fly fishing and a bit of course fishing on the Ure. Been to river frequently with limited success, generally caught nothing!, but it has been fun learning. Look forward to reading the posts for advice.
Cheers Rob

Hi Rob Nice touch that introduction. We must have had 15 new forum members over the last couple of weeks and not one of them has posted yet ...... nice of you to take the time with a quick intro. As a new angler seeking advice we should get some good topics going . . . ask away . . . and ignore the sarcastic replies , they're just having fun All the best Rushy

Some advice on current posting mate 1- say summat funny that will not upset anybody 2- errrr say summat funny 3 - once you have done your funny stuff - errr .... errr.... errr....feel free to patronise Due to my lower than average intelligence I often have to read things half a dozen times for it to sink in. Errrr I understand this one of them sarcastic comments that you mentioned Rushy.

ask away about any of the leeds water This is it, we need a few more people asking questions. I've deliberately been asking a fair amount of questions lately, but not too many I hope. Newbies on forums are always more important than they realise in that respect. They are the lifeblood. I'm new on here (but been using various kinds of internet forums for about 17 years so I've seen it all). This is a decent forum that looks like it can become a d**n good one with just a few more regular posters, and regular newbies are especially healthy 'cos they ask the questions that provoke the discussion. So yeah, welcome Rod - ask away and we all learn. Nige. (Possible Candidate for Newbie Shop Steward)
