Caught them all in essence of bald eagle hair, where I travelled miles and miles naked over broken glass for 200 days and 299 nights where finally I had the chance to meet a guy that met a guy that heard of an eagle flying upside down so I travelled evan further,,. Finally found the nest and plucked a single feather from this eagle,, I then made the journey back carrying a welders anvil from the 5th century that I got from a religious man in Devon,,, I met a man in Cornwall for a miniature vice,,, got home to my garage where I tied all my own flies using pigs fur and this eagle feather,,, I made a hook using a sewing needle and a candle light,,. With my split Cain rod I turned on the lathe I got from the Egyptians,,. And my reel I inherited from the First World War general i set off on a 100 mile naked walk up the nid,,,,
.
.
.
.
I caught a stinking Virmin trout and a poxy 10lb bag of dace still was no happier snapped the rod and threw it in the bin,,,
Ps we all like different things pal no body cares,,,, Be happy for others in what they do and be happy in your own life and what you do ,,..
Jimmy

What's with all these old throw back photos pmsl I wanna see actual carp caught this week pmsl,,, nice 30, Eddie was thatcher in power when you caught that ?? Let's start a thread for throw backs every Thursday you post a Victorian caught carp Anyways back to my fishing now,,, Jimmy Tony Blair actually, were you at school jimmy? We had to amuse ourselves somehow, I don't think that's a bad fish for the time, 30's didn't grow on trees in those days. That was the biggest fish in the venue and I was lucky enough to catch it twice, the last time just over 30lb. Seen it come out from 23lb to over 30, what a fish, never a big belly, always a fish that was a lovely shape. Guess where it came from? A water lots of anglers have fished on this forum and one that you are a club member off! Eddie.
