Been away for a few days ( but can't say where unfortunately ) so,not been on the Forum much . . Just. about caught up,now and I've had enough bud for one night so best sign off. Managed a two,cast session on the Nidd tonight but no Mr Barbel sat waiting for my boilie , sorry . . . . pellet , or was it meat Always hold ya rod . . . Tight lines . . Hope they are waiting for me tomorrow

I lived in cairo for 2 years meself, in a 10th-floor flat with a distant view of the pyramids. Great sunsets. then they built another building opposite mine, and I could only see 2 pyramids. Then another one gradually rose up dwarfing mine, and when I could only see one pyramid from one corner of the balcony, I knew it was time to leave. Now they've put up a frickin' ginormous statue of the Rushmeister himself I know I made the right decision.

I reckon the club should lay on a few camels for us river anglers seeing as most parking spots are 4 miles from the river, couple at Hammerton and a couple at Eased**e would be spot on, maybe Rushy can bring it up at the next meeting?
