I'm not bothered wether the guy with the horses is approachable or not, if you pay 100 quid to fish you don't want to be restricted to which bank you can fish on. The horses are tethered but one bolted and broke free the other night as a guy passed it to pick up his takeaway. Good senario all carp showing up to the left of the point great but consider the five or six horses behind you some are only yards from the bank. I don't think so broken rods maybe a broken neck is on the cards. somebody has had their car damaged enough is enough. By the way what will happen to the club if the horses trample someones bivvy during the night. If the horses stay I want a refund and I'm bringing some more horses of my own down there. Free grazing can't go wrong.

And please nobody tell me they are harmless, as I walked past one the day it reared up at me looked pretty wild wouldn't want to contend with that through the night.

Have you never had one stumble out of the bushes and think your bivvy is a UFO or a giant shelled reptile! Try a park lake, I'm sure it wouldn't be long before you have one of these experiences. ;D
