While we are looking to improving our lakes maybe some money could be put aside to buy some rubble for the track at wintersett. Ive struggled getting on and off the last couple of times. If we had a load dumped near the gate one of the lads can borrow a pick up to get it spread about. Im not sure how much this would cost but it needs doing before the track gets unusable in the spring. We just need the rubble the lads would do the rest

There's some good landscapers at this club ! Infact one advertises in the book why not try one of these lads first before asking a joiner( no offence but horses for coarses) . Just a heads up Darrington quarry do type 1 hardcore for £8 tonne . Forget about Tarmac scalpings they are no good and come summer when it's hot it just breaks down and don't do good with power steering and just end up getting churned up !..,

We just need the rubble the lads would do the rest I can bring that up for you at the next general purpose committee meeting, maybe even mention it at tomorrows delegates meeting, I will make sure Leeds are aware, but graham will have taken note no doubt already, don't understand some of the comments that follow oldloiner, but if you want to criticize, at least buy a book and then have your say by all means. If you don't think something needs putting right at knotford, suggest you have a word with wrighty29 or winter55, they could maybe help you out with some answers, though they are pretty obvious mate. I don't think anyone has anything but what's best for the club and it's members at heart, do you? Eddie.

I'm sure jimmy will come up with the ideas and an answer to sort it,with his years of fishery management experience. You only need a raised path and a stocking of a million fish a toilet, cafe and someone to take your gear to them swim. Should be easy there's no horses

Brilliant post jb, so good you even liked it yourself. I'm sure your thick layer of sarcasm will fill the wintersett pot holes and provide access. Jimmy will be pleased you've got that sorted, save him providing tools, transport, materials and time for the club free of charge, nice one. I think everyone fishing wintersett would like me to thank you for your positive solutions and how you have solved the problem for us all, your a star!

Well said that man ( Eddie ).
These anonymous online forum posters are ruining our fantastic club
Slagging commitee members who are willing to help with time and hard graft
What are you willing to contribute jb.
Nothing only personal insults.

piss take as normal, no wander the club take no notice of this forum and nothing gets done anyway on another note, the lock on the gate on cold heindly has been changed too, club keys do not fit. i also have a decent trailer we could load up and drag down the track filling holes as we go. as for the track to the dam and the flooding it could be the d*ke that needs digging back out as well as the track raising
