Knowing Nige it won’t be anything too technical , my guess is a grt sea hook stuck through the sprats top lip  |

Two pike trips so far - both on river Swale. Seven pike to 16lbs - all on lures. Great sport.I won't reveal where as pike really do thrive on neglect .

Well done, a 16lber is a very nice fish  Your not wrong about the neglect part. I'm most happy when I'm fishing areas that rarely see an angler - the unknown element comes into it |

Something I've been considering lately. How do you hook your deads on the single trace? Either thru the back or near the tail mate ,2 singles for sardines and i dont hang about striking,rather miss than go deep l :)smaller hooks than rushys grappling hooks anyway  |
