Hi anyone know if leeds still have this as I was approached on Friday by the bailiff and told leeds had sold it to a 40 strong syndicate. I also was told that we could still fish it if we had a leeds yearbook this seems a little strange. Don't think ill fish it again as there were a few dodgy characters about. Cheers Graham

Leeds still own it, i have fished it for many years and have never had any problems, it has been adopted by a syndicate who have done and are doing some awesome work down there.
Re any dodgy characters ask to see there book and if they don't have one ask them to leave, works for me.
As there are locks on all the gates you will usually find they have a book and key.

The word syndicate keeps rearing it's ugly head! And that's the impression being given. Just so it's clear knotford is a Leeds water and all members can fish it and to night fish you only need a permit from Leeds! The club who adopted the water, only took on the care of the venue and have no more say over who fishes there than any other Leeds member. They have done some good work improving the venue, the swims etc. But if anyone at the venue tells you different, get their name if possible and message it to me if you like and we can set them straight on who runs the venue and who it belongs to. You have every right to fish it, as we all have.(Leeds members).
Eddie.

Both clubs, Highwood a c and Forum ac, are not detached from the club in any way, they are both full members like all the other clubs on our register.
I wish people would check their facts before posting rubbish

I'm sorry I don't know all the right words Graham but I'm sure people knew what I meant. Why don't you put us all right instead of having a go at me, this is the problem with this forum your quick to pick up faults but not so forthcoming with the facts

You have been informed what was happening in a proper manner, but instead of believing what we say you would rather listen to gossip.
I am having a go because every man and his dog has a go at me, so it's time to fight back

Iv never had a go at you, you are someone with a lot of knowledge about the club but instead of helping people who are new to the club you seem to be trying to put them down, if you don't want help people maybe you shouldn't comment. I'm done
