Ston managed 2 carp in his catch. a great catch considering he had to wait 2 hours for the ice to move, and had a blank mid match and lost the fish for the last 2 hours and couldnt catch more then one fish off each line without resting it.....Must have had a fantastic 3rd hour lol... joking aside well done to all, especially anyone drawing near the raper who`s fish magnet seems to have reversed polarity, Ps is Tony (tinkerbell) Hewson spending to much time with Stan? I asked tony if he was catching yesterday (on the small lake) "no... all the fish have followed the wind down to the left hand corner" he replied. This did in fairness seem to be the case, but what was baffling was tony was chucking a wagg up to his........Right (away from the fish), he`s always done things the hard way has our Tone!!!! Now now skimmer old boy, you know it was only an hour before the ice moved lol.

I'm good Lee thanks but not as good as you if your somewhere warm.
I can give you the advice your looking for from Ston' - Cos he told me the same, "only draw good pegs" if you can do that it's not difficult to catch up there. Ston' made the fatal mistake of drawing next to me last Sunday and he came back to reality with a 6lb weight (I had 8lb but then I'm used to fishing crap pegs) but I'm sure it was only a slight blip on his drawing arm as the previous 6 matches were all on fliers. I'm the other way, if I can get one draw in six I'm doing well. I'm fully expecting to his name up there in the frame when this weeks results come in ;o)

Wednesdays result , 1st Steve Mazza 58 lb Peg 16 2nd Dave Wright 55 lb Peg 25 3rd Dave Pollitt 36 lb Peg 2 There were two other 30lb plus weights , and loads of 20 lb plus weights , middle section won with 26 lb and lowest weight in section 21 lb . Mazza and Dave won the pairs by a mile with a combined weight in excess of 100 lb , not bad when you think its still January . Roll on summer .

Cannot get on the good pegs now cos all the usual drawbags are back and all the flyiers taken. ;D ;D ;D

Bubble burst Ston? You will be on that 25 peg on Satda..... Sounds like it's gonna get real cold again, you could be ice breaking Yeah I notice Mazza is picking back up where he left off - He only draws one of 5 pegs, either 12, 13, 14, 15 or 16 - I haven't seen him anywhere else

Ha ha....no the bubble has not burst phill, but its really hard to frame off poor pegs when its this cold, and ive only been on 25 once since autum ;D Would love a go on peg 2, now that is a consistant peg Ps mazza has draw peg 2 twice recently..but he does do the buisness when hes on them. There is 2 lads there that dont know what a bad draw is....im sure they know who they are. I was a bit miffed on wed, because what a draw to follow up peg 17 ...im starting to draw like clarky ;D ;D
