I didn't expect you to keep quiet Steve. As you say, I know you better than that, as you do I. If there's something I feel is not right and members need an answer to something, I think I'm up front enough to voice my concerns. Like I've said before Steve, we've had a few discussions now and although we've not always agreed, I've always found you to be up front and honest, unlike others.

i never said they decided i said they talked about it . but still no official has answered ask frim what his his position in the society ,not an official that is for sure. and ask them if kippax park is a totally different venture to leedsdasa . as they have said in past kp is a different thing altogether nothing to do with leedsdasa kp only uses officials skills to run the place for the farmer so why is amalgamation money going into such a place as this. get our other long standing venues sorted first,or is this not what you puddle angler officials want.

Equalizer as people have already stated you seem to 'know a lot' if you actually read Frim's post, it clearly states that money for catterick has not been recieved and when recieved it is going to be used to secure current waters and sort them out before thinking about where the change may go.
Read the post and Frim says what the score is, 0-0 because no money has been taken from catterick because it is yet to be finalised. I understand you are frustrated about certain things but how can they be commented upon if there isn't an answer?

Mark asked for reply from an official/committee member, as a member of four committees including finance, and as secretary of kp committee, I think that qualifies me to answer, i have never claimed to be an official never even mentioned it!! but saying that he hasnt got anything right up to now, but no doubt he'll hear another rumour from a rumoured official and believe them instead! great balanced post from charlyfarley,if and when the sale of Catterick is completed, and 400k plus is banked Leeds could have a problem.Obviously this windfall could secure the stability of the club for many years to come, but are capital gains tax due on the money?is there taper relief available(£8000 per year owned I think)If we retain any money for future years use, will tax be due on the increased profit on the clubs balance sheet? Whoever, and however this money is spent is a great responsibility. The rumour about buying a half share in Kippax Park may or may not be based on "good imfo", but maybe it would be a better option than gifting the taxman possibly a six figure sum, and I have no self-interest with Kippax Park, I have fished it once in the winter for carp, and fly fished it once. I prefer the polo pond

but saying that he hasnt got anything right up to now, but no doubt he'll hear another rumour from a rumoured official and believe them instead! Steve Steve, I hope that wasn't aimed in my direction mate, everything I've 'said' has been based on fact, not rumour. And to date, I don't think I've been wrong on anything, maybe less right a couple of times but never wrong!! If I've said something that turned out not to be true I've always had the decency to apologise to those concerned for the misunderstanding. In this situation I merely asked the question somebody else asked who received no answer. I then received a reply from yourself. Like I said in my reply to you, "I've always found you to be up front and honest". I didn't come back with any kind of comment as I felt the situation had been resolved with your reply!!

As secretary of the official Kippax Park Committee, Steve is fully authorised to comment factually on what is taking place at KP and along with Stan and myself is in constant contact with the owner discussing changes and development of the site.

hi guys,i think your questions would be answered if you read the the rules in your year book,as president i am custodian of those rules during my term, they are what we work by and to adhere to them is a must, so you must realize this web site is not how we run the club, this web site if you must know is paid for by us for our members to gain access to the knowledge that has taken our members years to acquire, if they chose not to share it with you thats down to them, it shows our venues and the maps to them [thanks to charleyfarley ]all hand made,it allso creates talking points for you and lets you know the things that we do on your behalf like stocking, new waters ,old ones we let go,all these things are decided in the many committees we have ,the results of which go on the web site, thats how the rules work, the Minuit's of all these meetings are read out at every delegates meeting and voted on by the delegates who run the club, not me,or graham or steve, the delegates, unless you are a member of a club you have no input in the way the club is run,if you do not like this you must change the rules at a a,g,m,by putting in a notice of motion of the rules that you would like to change, rule 4 page 9 change to read, etc, thats how its done, club business will not be discussed on this site until its been to a delegates meting, when its been to the delegates then its fact not fiction like most of the things on this thread, while i am talking look what it says under standing orders p11and emergency powers p12,enough said,if you have any good questions that i can answer then please fire away.stan..

Your replies are usually considered and reasonable stan - has george touched a nerve? The website is surely one way that members can air their opinions - more frequently and with a quicker response to current issues than any agm. I, and others, would be happy to quote our membership numbers if needed geoff
