Well said mate, and thanks both for your support in trying to keep the place as tidy as possible; it it very appreciated.
I make a concious effect in winter to remove all the crap that has been hidden in the bushes through the summer.
Unfortunately, we the considerate anglers will never win this fight.

I find line probably everytime I fish. And taking other peoples rubbish home has become the norm! If more folk stopped and picked the litter up instead of just walking past it and moaning about it, Knotford and other Leeds DASA venues would be much nicer places to be.
The thing I find worrying is the trend of snapping and bending trees over or round to block wooded paths and pegs from being used. Litter can be picked up, trees take years to grow and when they get snapped like that they just die. I do hope this thread rings a few bells though and provokes a few more to atleast think about picking up some litter! You can find myself and Dan picking litter up on cold sunday afternoons if anyone would like to join us.
