steve no steve that perch was a good few years back below leeds road bridge on the reed bed tench from same spot.thats sad about the carp just the way things are hopefully went to a new home not on a plate.was a shame the ponds was closed last i heard the fish wer still in the round pond.should have been netted.where do you do your fishing steve i joined leeds last season to fish the swale at topcliffe. Harry, I thought as much. Unfortunately the Broad Canal is not the fishery it used to be. Being local to a highly populated area it has been extensively poached the last 4-5yrs. The only species that seems to be holding its own is the chub. There is still some decent fish in the ICI pond. A lot, well the carp and pike have been taken but some nice high singles still inhabit the pond. d**n shame really as it was a cracking local venue. Regarding Leeds venues, I don't fish them as I regularly did in the past. May come back to them later though. Steve.

Come on guys - what you going to give me ..... a double The net is 2 foot diameter andI obviously need a bigger one Special thanks to Dranv and Nat for their help and confidence boosting advice
