I maybe wrong but think it was Bradford that had thorpe underwood. Heared they netted it before giving it up. It ain't far from the ouse either do may be otter food by now if there was anything else left

Not only are the horses off, but beginning in April work to improve the car park and the laying of paths start. So getting round the lake should be much improved.

Well done to you guys that are starting the much needed impetus in giving the Leeds Club the kick up the ass the current club needs. I won't profer any more of my money to support the club while it is led by guys that only have their own one eyed match agenda at heart. Folk that are set in their ways and don't set out to gather the opinions of the majority of fee paying members. I will still look in to the website and hope that the club will soon turn a corner enough for me to dip my hand in my pocket and join a new club that values all members -as shown by monies spent on all areas of fishing- not just Stillwater match fishing venues. I urge anyone interested in dragging this club out of the stone age to look at what Hull and district anglers are doing as a model for the future.

I agree thanks to those who are putting in the hard graft at Knotford but I happen to know a lot of hard work is being put in at the club, I can also tell you that they have been in contact with Hull on a number of occasions to seek advice and that is now being put into practice.

We are in the middle of five days of work improving the car park and building paths through the muddiest parts of knotford. Good on the anglers that fish there putting the effort in!

It is great that the anglers that fish knotford are doing some work but that is not enough. The whole club needs to be behind these improvements which the Leeds club clearly are not. I mentioned the Hull club that is clearly trying to improve the fishing for all it's anglers. Match fishermen are seen as one section of the club - not more or less important than any other section of the club. How much money was put into improvements in river fishing this last year for example by the Leeds club compared to money spent on their new and now future match anglers stillwaters.

Work at knotford, was going to go ahead one way or another, Leeds are 100% behind it! And I think it will be a real success.
