From what I've seen you'll not be able to hold a 16 m pole without a couple of sky hooks.

Called into Bobco today to start the replenishment of my reels with line for the new season Had a quick chat with Dave and Bob inbetween customers and they very kindly donated £30 worth of vouchers for our social match As previously stated, this is more of a social get together so any ideas for the 3 vouchers are welcome. Obviously the idea is to make it so anyone can win them irrespective of ability - got to give Ronny a chance I've thought of the obvious one - BIGGEST FISH

Dave, well done on organising this mate, looking forwards to it! Without being pissy bonfire tho - for those of you who have fished here before, and I used to love it, good bagging water with some lovely ghosties in - the last time I went up the other week, the owner has ruined it cut all the trees back on the islands and taken all the foliage away, no features now the same fish will still be in there, so hopefully we'll all catch well, it makes it pretty much a rod water tho, wouldn't have thought poles would be any good, given the wind which now blows across and the distance to the islands, up to you all tho! Will still be a good day tho, it's about having a laugh What the feck was the owner thinking tho?? Crazy!
