hi, I fished the polo pond at kippax yesterday. the work les our new bailiff is putting in is really starting to pay off. the island is starting to green over with new life from the trees and shrubs.the new plantings are starting to bud. the new lilly beds are starting to grow and the carp have started to explore the new beds a very nice place to fish. great to see a lot of new young faces enjoying a great days fishing at kippax.nice one les.

hi fishface every year when the local farmer ploughs and works the fields we get a large increase in the rat population with vermin control we keep the numbers down(there is no infestation due to hens)you should get your facts right before placing inaccurate reports on the forum as to the trees only ones posing a danger to anglers will be felled if you wish to discuss the hens or any matter please call at the cabin any afternoon cheers andygas

hi again not getting a budget for general maintenance the egg money is a very valuable source of income it has paid for a lawn mower a wheelbarrow and various other items we need more money for tarmac shavings scaffolding poles petrol grass seed wood the list is endless we also sell bait bottles of water cans of pop various items of fishing tackle and number one seller free range eggs on a weekend we are there most days please call in for a chat cheers andygas

hi dave we also have a problem with h/balsam last year we tried to purchase a ww2 flamethrower only to be refused by the M D on the grounds of health and safety spoil sports we also considered agent orange it was very successful in Vietnam but we where unable to find a stockist bloody health and safety again we are now going to plan c non nuclear of course we will be in touch if it works cheers andy

AS the polo pond slowly rises from the shadows of KHV we have pleasure anglers catching skimmers roach and bream in moderate amounts on friday the 18th dec local carp angler paul forrest landed a 21lb mirror carp the carp was in excellent condition very fit and very plump just like its captor well dpne mate
