Does anyone know how Leeds ASA came to lose the stretch of the Wharfe at Pool below Arthington Viaduct? It used to be Leeds water but went to another club 2 or 3 years ago - Huby Angling Club, I think. Come to think of it, does anyone know for definite which club controls this stretch now? Does anyone here have a contact name/number for Huby Angling Club?

I heard a rumour a while ago that Leeds may also lose the stretch of the Wharfe at Pool immediately above Arthington Viaduct - the field upstream of the viaduct. I think it was the bailiff who told me this. I hope this is only a rumour as this as a lovely stretch, with chub, pike, grayling and trout all there. Can anyone comment on whether this rumour has anything in it?

Stan - I noticed you're back. I wonder whether you've heard anything about Leeds possibly losing the field immediately above Arthington Viaduct? Like I said, hopefully it's just a rumour with nothing in it.
Incidentally, I was at Pool last Saturday and I've rarely seen so many people on the banks above the bridge at Pool.
