Hi
Anyone tried this place this season , i used to be there every weekend walking up to the big sand bed and island round the top corner- it was a walk and a half but sometimes well worth it.Are there any good pegs from the beck upstream before the island and what is it like downstream of the beck.Ive a had some time off so very keen to go to the place again Cheers

Hi Gollum,
I've not fished it this seasons. Once upon a time, Easdike was my second home, I've been fishing it for 25 years now. Back then, you could catch a net full without even trying. Unfortunately, I haven't fished it that much over the last few years, so I'm not sure how it's fishing.
The pegs downstream of the beck around the island was always a favourite spot of mine. Good for Grayling and Chub, and the occasional Barbel if you were lucky. The deeper spots used to hold big Bream, up to 8lb.
Whether all this is still the case, I don't know. But certainly worth a visit, in my opinion.
