Good starting video and anything that promotes correct treatment and attitudes towards pike has to be commended. Not sure 2 nets is preferred by the angler that may walk a mile or so to favorite pegs and if you use semi- barbless trebles or maybe doubles or singles you will need to buy a coated landing net but I'm sure this will be covered in later videos. An excellent start though for the target audience i.e piking beginners.

I use both singles and barbless trebles and i have to say that having switched to a rubberised coated landing net last winter i would not go back to a standard pike net, they are excellent and in my humble opinion i would def recommend them to both beginners and seasoned pikers.

Brent got two mate and flipped one off at the net. I got just the one and had a blood curdling lunge at my lure from another one under the rod tip. Bang on with the Wharfey bud
