Beauregard, I asked about the fishing rights you wanted to know, the stretch in-between our new stretch below the bridge apparently belongs to Middleham house holders for them to fish, as for the stretch below spennithorne we are not sure about, we think stocksley used to have it & they still show as having some water at middleham on their web site but their is no map to show where , we think they might have given up there stretch & not updated their web site, we also think Bradford no longer have that stretch from ullshaw but not 100% certain on that, sorry it's a bit vague but if I hear anymore I will let you know Thanks, chipper935, for your diligence and quick response. Looks like I'll have to buy a house at Middleham, or get well in with a Householder then . The Ullshaw Bridge, Bradford No1 Length, is still in this years Book and posted on their Website so I'll carry on fishing it until I find out otherwise www.bradfordno1.com/waters_folder/waters_ure.html. At least there's a lot more water to go at on the Leeds Book now; And always the chance of an elusive salmon

cabbo, river is very low at the moment making fishing difficult, however we have had a bit of rain lately but it is no where near it's normal level, their is Barble, pike, chub, perch, salmon & gudgeon in the river, but they have been taking a beating from otters, mink, & cormorants

Might make an interesting forum outing before next years coarse season starts, a bit of worm fishing, maybe a bit of fly fishing even. Would be a good way of having a look at the lengths. Eddie

Not fished new lengths yet but fished left bank above and below iron bridge weather no good very windy . But weather aside had a good day caught 4lb chub 2 brown trout 2 gudgeon and many minnows no grayling thought which surprised me. Will try for grayling again when weather gets colder as I know there are big ones below bridge.

morning cabbo depth below bridge on average is 2ft above bridge is 5ft but on both sections there are a lot of shallower runs. I normally fish bomb as feeder tends to spook bigger fish and only fish light hook lengths as the grayling wont take anything heavy. Cheers Graham

Wow, that's quite a revelation fishface. Great to hear about the possible potential of the lengths up there. Thanks for sharing some of your results, it's a long journey for me so nice to have a bit of positive news about the general area. Cheers Eddie.
