Thanks for posting the map. Sorry to be a pain but what parking and entry for the new lengths, wouldn't want to upset the locals this early on. If we get some water can't wait to explore.

Hi Chris It has all been signposted with the help of Bolton AC so dare I say , if you know the area and can find the lengths from the OS map it will be well signposted. If you go, can you let me know how you get on as I'm going to give the Grayling a go myself All the best Dave R

This is great news, but, does anyone know who has the stretch between the two new right bank lengths? Thanks

used to fish it years ago on Bradford no1 nice stretch of water, all I know is that Bradford no1 own from 1 field above the small bridge on the corner across from the pub for about a 1 mile. the middle of the stretch was slow, wide, calm and beautiful good for fly or float fishing worm.
I cant remember but that mile stretch of Bradford would probably take you up to the village of Middleham on the right bank unless some else knows anymore as I say its a few years since I`ve been up there.
hope this helps if anybody else as anymore info please tell, I may even take a drive up there myself and have a look.

Yep, Bradford have about a mile up from Ullshaw Bridge (the Pub is the Coverbridge Inn), but, this stops short of the new Bottom length Right Bank, from my guestimations. Trying to piece together who's got all the bits in between, so i can have a good roam about.

well lads was going to Nosterfield to do some bird watching and ventured a little further to Middleham, stopped off at ullshaw bridge bradfordno1 saw a few fish topping no sign to say it was Bradford.
went as far as the iron bridge and turn round and found the track down to the right bank up stream looked really but nether fished it, went a bit further down the road until I came to a right turn bend were there is a track on your left, there is 2 gates down to the river saw the sign on the fence for the top limit for the middle section but couldn't find proper access. as this tract look as if it tuck you over the fence of the top limit, so went a little further to find bottom limit no look I`m afraid,
so went back to Nosterfield and had cracking photos of a peregrine falcon sat on a fence no more than 50 yards from me, then out of the corner of my eye YES first timer not 1 not 2 but 3 BARN OWLS on a tree box my life is for filled as these are a rarity at the moment. but 10 chicks have hatch here this years so a nice drive out on dull drizzly day.

Beauregard, I asked about the fishing rights you wanted to know, the stretch in-between our new stretch below the bridge apparently belongs to Middleham house holders for them to fish, as for the stretch below spennithorne we are not sure about, we think stocksley used to have it & they still show as having some water at middleham on their web site but their is no map to show where , we think they might have given up there stretch & not updated their web site, we also think Bradford no longer have that stretch from ullshaw but not 100% certain on that, sorry it's a bit vague but if I hear anymore I will let you know

johnboy66 I an still waiting for some top & bottom limit signs to finish off at Middleham Ya thanks I did see the top limit sign on a fence on the 2nd stretch, which is from the iron bridge to Middleham right bank down stream but didn't want to trespass through the 2 gates on the corner to have a look. will they be a sign on the gates as well if that is the right way in, and will the parking be on the grass a bit further up under the tree`s in front of the river. no rush just an honest guy that likes to do right.
