Beware you Barbel and Chub rod and reel arrived all ready,Skipton on Swale I think on Wednesday,boilies,pellets, paste etc,any secret tactics anyone and whats the best pegs help required.

forget the pellets and boilies luncheon meat over hemp or if the river has any colour lobworm over casters oh and keep hold of your new rod if your reel does not have bait runner on it or you may end up having to buy a new one ;-)

+1 to this. But I always use both caster and Hemp in the Dropper/Feeder... But you 'Can't Beat Spam' on the Hair..... To Plagerise Stella Artois.....I'ts Reassuringly Expensive.....

does anyone or as anyone tried the Turkey one I`ve 2 tins in my cupboard but have never thought of trying them, and if so does it work for Chub, Barbel and Carp !!!
