Just thought I'd try something different and prepare a thread for the 4 Muscateers should the swords come out later on . . . I can hear them being removed from the scabbards Seems a shame to delete the personal posts and insults when some folk quite enjoy reading them. I know Patterdale Mick looks forward to a few fireworks to liven his night iup when watching Corrie with the wife Any interpersonal posts that threaten to ruin a thread will be deleted and moved to here for all to enjoy Tight lines and happy baiting . . .

I'm guessing that a majority would prefer it if all insults and threats are deleted as quickly as possible before they bring the whole place down, warnings issued, and anyone who persists or (especially) threatens anyone is banned. For good. Safety is a concern - surely L&DASA has a policy on that?? Or is happy for the playground "I know where you live" nonsense stays up to for all to see and to new members?? Personally, if I see people allowed to get away with threats on a consistent basis, I'll be out of here for good meself fairly sharpish.
If you need a moderator who doesn't know the people concerned personally (and doesn't particularly want to) I'll do it.
And I'll compose a little intro if you like that goes into a bit more detail than "do not be offensive to fellow users", or whatever the current vague spiel is, cos it obviously isn't working.
This isn't getting at you Rushy - you're a great helpful bloke who tries to facilitate everyone getting along and having a laugh, and doesn't want to ban people (over and over again) who you know personally ... (besides, they know where you live).

Get a thicker skin or don't read the posts is my advice , they all give as much stick to each other and bait each other in one way or another it just gets out of hand now and again . Good work moderators , maybe a good idea to start one of these threads for the nervous types as well me thinks.

Good work moderators , maybe a good idea to start one of these threads for the nervous types as well me thinks. No offence taken. Nobody's had a go at me and if they did I would ignore it. But I do prefer forums where the mods don't ignore it. No 'ban em all' attitude, which is why I mentioned warnings, but I do think posts that break the rules should be deleted as soon as the moderator sees them, or the rules mean nothing. I'm only talking about banning somebody who threatens someone, or persists in abuse after multiple warnings. No job application - just an offer, and in truth really just an offer made to emphasise the point. I trust Rushy has things in hand.

This is the best thread ever Obviously Mr rush set it up for the 4 musketeers to slag each other off to their hearts content Who are these four by the way? Anyhow back on topic what was started as a thread for the usual suspects to pregnant dog at each other has turned into a thread where the usually mild mannered forum users have turned on each other Genius rushy brilliant thread Keep up the good work On a serious note rushy as far as I can tell mate you've done a fantastic job on here It's a yes from me
