Now that I've switched to the Daiwa Sensor mainline, thinner than any I've prviously used for heavy feeder work, I'm finding it difficult when the feeder is full to find ledger stops that won't slip.
Anyone got any recommendations for good non-slip ledger stops for a big heavy feeder full of wet bait and THIN LINE, or should I just start tying all my hooklengths to swivels, and very long hooklengths, like I already do when I'm fishing braid hook lengths (when fishing close to snags)?

The best ledger stops by a country mile are drennan centre stops. As the name suggests the line runs central through the male part of the stop, it is then folded shut an inserted into the female part (ooh er ! ).
I tend to use them in pairs if using big pellet stuffed feeders and rarely do they slip.
Don't think you'll be disappointed with these Nige.
Mick.

Nice one - thanks - as it happens i've already got about 6 ledger stops I haven't used yet that match that description, but dunno what brand - I got them in a big 'job lot'. Will order some Drennan centre stops anyway, thanks Mick
