Hello gents just wondered if anyone as any info on this venue,i know theres Grayling in there but is there any Chub and Barbel might give it a go while on my lovely 4 WEEKS off work Cheers and tight lines Paul.

Hello mate yes plenty of big chub but you will have work hard and cover plenty of pegs to find them as for barbel don't know if there still there but im sure if you find the chub the barbel will be close by. Make sure you use big baits as there are millions of minnows. hope this helps

Beautiful spot, and highly recommended for trout & grayling fishing. I've only fished it for trout meself so far, but If anyone's caught any barbel there in recent years they're keeping quiet about it, and Charlyfarly2 had a good go a few times last season but no joy. I fished it for grayling in the winter and had some good ones in the deeper pools near the bridge. also spoke to a local angler who told me there is barbel but not many. but it's another great place to spend the day with a wide variety of baits.
