Pegs look great, you've done well to go at a time when none of us are fishing any of them!

I know Eddie's already mentioned it but Tom's YouTube vid of the whole length is a good watch and potentially may bag us a few new members. It's a bit scary how fast the skip bridge length has returned in part to its natural state.

It's a bit scary how fast the skip bridge length has returned in part to its natural state. I was there about a week and a half ago and most of the the pegs are still fine, it's the paths we cut especially the first bit from the railway to the fourth peg that have gone wild with 10-foot high balsam, but it is booked for matches 4 Sundays in a row, starting last Sunday. I wonder if there's any way we could get any feedback on those matches?

Any Barbs been coming out then?, a few look like snag pits to me. The river's a lot lower and clearer now than in those pics so you can see most snags. Was hard fishing on Saturday. Most of us blanked (barbel-wise anyway) but my better half had her firs ever two barbel from two of the faster pegs, but they were at 7.30 a.m and 9 p.m so that in itself tells a story !!!

Hi Nige , my comment on skip bridge was prompted because I'd been watching tom's you tube footage and it looked jungle like. On the match situation rushy , graham or eddie may get to know , I hope they're 30peggers. lol

I think the matches are on the Railway length (here we go again ) Peg 1 is just below where we started and peg 30 is down by the railway bridge , Or coming up the river from the horsefield . . Peg 30 is the other side of the bridge and peg 1 is just before where we started the work ( straight across from where you go under the little bridge )

Confused.com.
Wherever the matches are it would be nice to a. Know the result b. Know how many fished c. See the length post matches
So get your finger out dave and keep us posted.
Yours eternally gratefully
Mick.

decided to have a visit to these pegs today started with a maggot feeder and had a few nice perch, chublets ,gudgeon and a grayling. only had a pint so they went quick and changed both rods to meat and put the baitrunners on as i always do had a small chub then 20mins later as iwas having a coffee rod looped over and end result was a 5lb barbel that had a few wounds on it from a pike i think and last knockings at 9.20pm another chub will visit again as i like this stretch
