Probably ok if you don't walk very far like stillwater carping but you will sweat like a pig in 'em if you have to walk any distance.

Probably ok if you don't walk very far like stillwater carping but you will sweat like a pig in 'em if you have to walk any distance. This is true to some extent, I use mine for water shots of carp,,, And the rare occasion I need to bait SPOD and cast round corners into bays,, usually float my landing mat out and have my stall setup on that,,, 10-15 mins is good I also have a big pond at home and there great for when I'm on a mission pressure washing the garden and cleaning my pond out,,, There not great when a 45lb mirror kicks off tries to get away and you dive for it ha ha ha like what happened to me in FRANCE,,, THEESE are worth the money and then some my mate has a pair very impressed

Old saying ,buy cheap buy twice, been there done it,spend a few more £ and get some imax, vass, guy cotten ect. The cheap ones will last a few years , the good ones will last a lifetime.

On impulse I bought a pair and the nice chap that sells them dropped them off himself this lunchtime. They look the business but as Geoff says I wouldn't want to walk a long way in them

Brian I will reserve judgement on whether they look the business mate ! Did your mum put a hanky in the braces because you have a cold

If they keep you dry they do the job! Don't venture much past knee deep, so thigh waders do for me!

I was out in some fast powerful water on slippy stones and struggled to get back when the river came up quickly and the flow increased markedly.
