As a new user of this forum I am staggered how you openly allow homophobic and gender discriminatory posts and add ons in JIMMY SILVERFISHFULLAs posts. Do you really think this outdated. insensitive and uncaring stuff is appropriate for young members who may use this forum ?

My own partner is among those who have been put off using the forum by the offensive childish drivel you refer to. Of course what's offensive childish drivel to one person is highly amusing 'banter' to the brain-dead, as you can see, but there you go. In this day and age as well, it's not just about what's appropriate and good for the image of the club, it's surely about the club covering itself legally as well against any accusations of discrimination. IMHO the whole club needs a proper anti-discrimination policy displayed - and enforced -on the forum which represents it publicly. |

the Leeds club is not exactly up to speed with modern communications I understand, but the moderation policy on here should have been taken to rulings at club level a while back.
No sensible modern club would want to have its public face besmirched by sexist, mysogynist, homophobic divvies, and of course I'm not saying Leeds is necessarily a sensible club, never mind a modern one, but the wider media, local authorities etc would not be very impressed by any club which ignored the issue.

The whole point of the original poster is that your type of brain-dead drivel puts good people off joining the forum, and that's why my partner doesn't post, and why I've only posted 5 times since November, and its why most of the good stuff off here is now to be found elsewhere. I'm now on other, better forums. I only came back here this morning to find a post by Graham about the limits of our length at Pool, from over 2 years ago.
