lots of big perch from ulleskelf,catches of 5 2lb, fish have been made ,fish of 4lbs + allso, chopped worm feeder with lobby's on the hook.stan..

that sounds good stan, thas a mind of knowledge on these leeds waters! do you know if these captures of big perch are common here, my memorys of ulleskelf are of boot laces and dabs! one of my targets this winter is a speci perch, some of the other topics state that the match lads are getting big uns from chapel hads on aire! cheers az

hi az,you are more likely to catch a turbot or a burbot than a flatie or a eel at skelf,the perch were in the railway field,that where the little fish seemed to shoal up,the perch seem to folow them but they must drop back towards the ouse in winter and return in the spring,some roach seem to stay though round the wiers,peg83 84 85,i have seen quite a few at chapp hadd but no fish over 2 lbs,the ouse at hunters round the bungalows has been throwing up some good fish up to 2 1/2 lbs.stan..

no eels i cant believe that!!! go back 20 years thats all we could catch(me and my mate) my how things change! i think ill give it a miss there, im on to a place whats done a lot of 3's up to 4+ but they are'nt river fish but thats me being fussy, thanks for your advice cheers..az..
