third sat league match Best match of 2009 very windy for most pegs but at least no icebreaking, the weights were brilliant for the conditions and the signs are it will be a cracking league and i predict you will need a near perfect score to win (10or11pts)
1st wilf lazenby 64-08 peg 1 2nd mal roughton 62-08 peg11 3rd dave wright 57-12 little lake 4th sean rodgers 54-08 peg 24 5th andy stoner 54-04 peg 4 6th steve raper 53-00 peg 25 league points mal and punkie 5 sean 6 ston 7 best eight results out of thirteen to count -drop five crappers

Hi gents...... after the match on sunday, i carried my gear to the bottom of the lake, as all do and got undressed and went for my car packed this and on arriving at home, found i had 2 liners but only 1 boot. i know it must have been left at the bottom of lake area, but been in touch with stan and it dont look as if anybodys found it.
Would have gone over today, but been to a funeral. Anyway, stan is going to have a look and see if hes got a spare boot, but if any of you has a spare pair id apreachiate it if you could bring them on wed(size 9 ish) Im gunna be a tad handicapped fishinng in one thermal boot and one trainer haha.
Cheers Andy

Andy, its in the cabin mate - after sundays performance they wanted to handicap you for wed and hid it! they shouldnt have bothered though you must have a wooden leg if you drove home and didnt know you only had one boot on. ;D

This weeks wed match the cat ice was back but the weights were still good but a few pegs did struggle for bites, Mal Roughton kept up his run of brown envelopes and over the last few weeks has been the man to beat. He watches 57-12 of trout go on the scales for another win from peg 16 Ian Wright has got his head round the place now and is another man to beat 30+ of trout and a few carp for 47-08 and second from peg8 Andy Stoner with one of the few carp catches on the day from his house on peg 14 3rd with 33-02. From day 1 Andy has been the most consistent on the venue.

SAT LEAGUE, kippax must be the coldest place in leeds frozen again, andy stoner ran away with it from peg1, but the other results were close so kept things interesting.
1st andy stoner 60-00 all trout 2nd dave wright 27-00 p20 joint 3-4 john gee 24-08 p2 mazza 24-08 p11 they are now starting to nick points for the league from each other and i'll post positions when there sorted.

Ston managed 2 carp in his catch. a great catch considering he had to wait 2 hours for the ice to move, and had a blank mid match and lost the fish for the last 2 hours and couldnt catch more then one fish off each line without resting it.....Must have had a fantastic 3rd hour lol... joking aside well done to all, especially anyone drawing near the raper who`s fish magnet seems to have reversed polarity, Ps is Tony (tinkerbell) Hewson spending to much time with Stan?
I asked tony if he was catching yesterday (on the small lake) "no... all the fish have followed the wind down to the left hand corner" he replied. This did in fairness seem to be the case, but what was baffling was tony was chucking a wagg up to his........Right (away from the fish), he`s always done things the hard way has our Tone!!!!
