just a bit of news for you pikers ,a 24lbs pike was caught on the warfe last week,plus a 21lbs one on tuesday on the swale,any one had one bigger?.stan..

22lb 4oz on the Wharfe last week, caught the same fish at 22lb 8oz in october 2006, my brother caught it in november 2007 ( not weighed ) and my mate caught it about a month ago at 23lb 6oz. She must be knocking on now, will we see her again next winter ? I hope so. Please don't ask where I caught her, she needs a rest.

Finished the season with a 21lb fish from the Wharfe (again) on Thursday,not far from where I caught the 22 a fortnight ago, a new fish for me in mint condition also caught a 9 pounder, both fish on Lamprey. Roll on 16th June. Smiley.
