thanks for the reply £4 doesnt seem ok for 2 rods i will give it a go soon
does anyone have any idea, what the sizes of pike are in all 3 lakes? especialy the botney
i used to fish for pike on the botney years ago and would like to try there first. biggest i saw come out was 18lb (not mine)
i noticed a few months ago when i had a walk round the botney the water on there was very very low about 3 to 4 foot in the middle and it was possible to actualy walk round
does anyone know why the water was so low?
or any other info on pike fishing the 3 lakes
thanks for any reply's :)

Yes, but it will probably take you about 150 £4's to get a bit of action and that will prob be a bream just after dark, so you can't reset your rod again lol

It'll propably work out more cost effective to get a book for the season (depending on how often you're thinking of fishing it). New books should be out shortly.
