Looking at purchasing 2 12-13ft 2lbtc purist rods for new season,unsure wheather to get 11-12ft series as could be over kill in slow summer currents. Anyone recomend these Shimano rods,or tried and tested them for some feed back. Thanks Brad.

get your self a pair of 12ft rods with a 1.75 and 2lb tops the 1.;75 perfect for are rivers and the 2lb for big floods or big leads if you go to the trent .never liked a short dolly in rods and 12fts do the job fine ,korum neoteric twin tips are decent or fox flood water ,shop around they can be a big difference in price . climax or erics a good start or if you got a few quid get yourself a pair bob gill hand made to your design torrix barbel rods ,i love mine but wont part with my neotorics .good shopping love

korum neoterics 1.75lb twin tips are the way forward-i have a pair myself-handle the swale doubles just fine.
