had a walk round wintersett over the weekend, place looks well nice to see the bailiff out with his black bin liners cleaning up the publics rubbish, keep up the good work its appreciated .

Had a walk around the bay last week and I wish I had a rod on me. there were Carp Galore.There were a group of 7-8 Carp all between 10-15lb in my opinion feeding 5' from the bank on all the rubbish that had blown towards the road bank.
There were also 2 huge hump backs stuck up out of the weed. Watched them for an hour until they final moved. I would guess one of them was the big un. Think they were more interested in sunbathing than feeding though. But it looks like them small stockies have grown on pretty well.
I would be interested to hear from anyone who had caught any of them this year

Hahaha wrighty29, thats exactly what I was telling me Dad who was with me at the time I used to fish it for Carp back in the 90s and I became a pretty good bream angler, but not through choice haha
