I heard someone saw a mouse at kippax and a call went out to rentokil ,last summer there wos 12 horses on knote running free at 1 point.at present there are 4 thats just about er let me think 4 to many . A lot of lads wont buy a night permit for knote cos of the horses so this prob is costing the club quite a lot of money they obviously must have plenty of money and dont need the extra revenue well done leeds

A horse walks into a smart thingytail bar The dooan says "wait you can't come in here without a tie" The horse goes out to his car, looks in the boots and gets a set of jump leads, which He ties around his neck He goes back in and says to the barman "this alright" The barman says "hmmmmm ok it will do but don't be starting anything "

Thank you brain i have never seen that as i have never seen anyone walk the lake apart from the 2 bailiffs who walk it most nights and i have been there 20 times since xmas and as for trouble from travelers, local yobs & quads bradford knote has had no problems from them either and they dont even have a locked gate .I think you have to fish the lake to appreciate the problems the horses cause for anglers. So if the horses are there with permission from the club i take it our tackle is fully insured while on the lake

Just asked my mrs about the insurance deal with the horses/livestock issue And usually public liability would not cover if livestock was on the land.,,,, unless it's specified and in the policy, We all know how hard it is to get a payout from insirance company's,,, as it is They would use anything to get out of not paying,,, From my understanding if you was to trip fall and cut your arm/body face on something you would be covered by public liability, this is THE REASON why members are only allowed Onto angling clubs waters as the book you buy and sighn enter you into the contact of the club and liability insurance So there for a person non member would not be covered by the club or insurance,,, this is why it's private land,, Just in case of injury, a non member could not sue the club or it's insurers,,, All that being said if a horse come bolting towards you and your equipment who would pay for this ?? £4000 worth of rods reels and alarms smashed who would pay If the public liability insurance states no livestock to be kept on the land then all insurance would be void,,, weather horse and livestock caused the problem or not,,, It's like ya house sets on fire, but you didn't tell them a third person was living there, the insurance company have the legal right to not pay as you've differd from the original contract,, Jimmy
