hi guys ,fished the aireborough fur n feather on sunday, john turton won this with 6lbs 13oz of roach from 252 on the long rod,i was second from 287 with 6lbs 12oz,yes done by 1 oz,but no complaints from me i had a bream 5lbs 1oz on the pole,plus 8 roach n 7 skimmers,a 5lbs chub n a few bits was second from the top end for 5lbs 10 oz babs was 4th with 5lbs 6oz of roach n skimmers +1 perch ,they do a overall points prize for the 6 matches they run each year and babs has finished 2nd in this with 54 Pt's ,we have only been on 3 matches,well done babs £70 for the match 4th,£70 for the overall,and a turkey each,nice work if you can get it.stan.. p/s like to thank tiffer child and terry smith for all the hard work they do organizing the matches,its a thankless job most of the time.
