Condition's as bad as they get, not even a lump over the weir at linton. 1st Keith Mottram 8lb a proper bream and six roach on lobby he had bites all day. 2nd Pete Hyde 6-4 3lb of roach and tommys and a three pound bream 3rd Chris Gowling 6-3 a four pound bream a big eel and bits. Best of the roach weights was Craig Turbitt 5-10 brill on the day! Batesey had just short of 5lb of roach and is winning the league. Craig Highe had a 10oz barbel, and a big beasty came up between me and Dennis White, two came up in-front of Eddie Brydon and father ouse "Trev Hewitt" lost one. About 50 fished, but according to the posts from yesterday if you fish between 11 and 4 where not proper anglers, we fished without our shirts on, drank loads of beer, and listened to the radio! dont know how we had time to hit a bite! frim

River about 2ft above summer level, nice colour, temp 45, we expected the river to fish its head off for roach but it didnt happen mark rockingham was the only one to catch any really, but his 5lb 12oz of big roach from peg 245 still only won him his section, the bream had a go and all the money was won with slabs. Ian Fieldhouse won it with 3 for 14lb he had two skimmers and one that had to do a three point turn to get round his keepnet, he fished the feeder a third of the way across and got linerd to death. Craig Turbitt was second with two bream for 10lb 14oz he moaned all the way to peg 207 and smirked all the way back. John Cyrowski 10lb 10oz got his usual two bream from his usual peg 220 john missed three proper drop backs "so blew it" Arthur Benstead was fourth with two in two chucks for 8lb 4oz and battered ian bowman off the next peg Scott Lister was last in dosh with one bream 6lb 10oz on the pole and pinkie from 228. Ian Bates is winning the league on76 points Craig turbitt 71 Pete Hyde 69 Ian Bowman 69 This weekends matches raised another 100 quid for the road fund
