SALMON FISHING AT MIDDLEHAM
After extensive consideration it has been decided that making this a Salmon Fishery would be very complex. It was therefore proposed to leave the fishery as it currently is but make it a Yearbook only water.
SILVER FISH PLANNED FOR KIPPAX AND SANDWATH
Sample fish have been caught and sent off to the relevant authority for testing. Unfortunately the results of the tests showed that the fish were not acceptable and the purchase has therefore been cancelled.
Stan and a few others have recently assisted the EA in catching Grayling for removal of eggs etc. In return, the EA has promised to allocate some fish to the club. It is hoped we will get Chub and Barbel which it is planned will go into Hunters Lodge.
POLO
Bank clearance work has been undertaken at Polo and a large amount of snagged tackle - floats - feeders - bombs etc which were tangling wildlife have been removed. The planned removal of Carp has been deferred until the weather and timing is right.
