I volunteered to go to the delegates meeting instead of Dave( he's on his hols.), unluckily for me the main road through the middle of Leeds was closed. I was forced to take on its one way system. Made it in time(just).
WORK PARTIES, A work party took place at hunters lodge yesterday to improve access. After the work at hammerton further permission has been obtained from land owner to create a new parking area. It will be the other side of railway bridge, so very close to river. Access to the opened up pegs will be very easy.
SKIN TROPHY AND DELEGATES MATCH Both matches are being moved from the 5th of July to the 19th. This is due to the tour de France grand depart starting in Leeds on the 5th and the traffic chaos that will be caused.
BANK DAMAGE AT EASd**e The E.A. Were unaware of damage and are now investigating who is responsible.
PLATFORM AT LINTON It seems that the creator of the platform is within his rights to put it there. Leeds only own the fishing and not the bank it's built upon.
WEBSITE The Leeds website is to be discussed with a view to update and improvement.
MEMBERSHIP Attached 415 up 15 Unattached 845 down 45 Total 1260 down 35 on this time last year.
That's about it, apart from by the time the meeting was over, they had closed the road in the other direction as well. So I had another tour de Leeds before I found my way home.lol

No problem, don't mind helping rushy out. About platform at Linton, I think there is still room to fish in front of it, but it would be very interesting fishing while party is in full swing on platform. Maybe they could pass down the odd beverage, you never know.lol.

If you enter from skip bridge, go under railway bridge, I think that is the proposed site.

That's right, plan is to put something down under bridge where it's a bit rough going and smooth it out a bit. Parking will be quite near the river. The land owner is being very accommodating, we can all thank him for that.

Will keys be required for the gate into the field ? I have sometimes seen some odd characters parked in the concrete entrance into the field. I wouldn't like to think that I would have to disturb them from their activities to get out of the field !! Cheers Andy
