On another note i dont see how posting pics of your personal captures could be disrespectful to lads fishing it as its showing the waters potential, and its never gonna get hammered due to size of the water + its an open access club water so anyone can fish it anyway. Cheers for pics lads im not fishing on hearsay and rumors now hahaha

It all used to be very hush hush but since the invention if facebook and internet forums most know whats in sett. Or at least what used to be in sett

I think it could be disrespect if someone published a water and it brought loads of new anglers flooding to the place. I think sett needs a few anglers for its survival and this is the only reason ive posted on here

Think I totalled 40 nights over that period, lots of bait lots of leg work and lots of mid week pre baiting in pitch black when nobody was about.
I absolutely love the place, my fishing career started there as an 8yr old boy sat on the dam wall pike fishing

Not that I'm aware of.
Interestingly all those apart from half tail were caught in daylight hours

The thing is to some people those sett originals are worth 10x30's from willows. Wintersett wil never have more than 10 bivvys on ut but thats one of its attractions
