Well me and Eddie fished the Leeds Delegates Annual match at Kippax today . It was hot !!!! It was hard going and even the Leeds Commercial experts were struggling. I had Carp swimming around in my peg like it was an aquarium at one point but they weren't feeding. I returned a feeble 17lb but Eddie did Forum AC proud and came second with forty odd pound beating some cracking commercial anglers. Only Stan the President stole his glory . . . . But he does know how to fish a bit Well done Eddie

Cheers Dave, it was persevering with your bait recommendation that did the job! Day off from fishing for me today, time to reorganise, my kitchen has still got carp gear( used for the overnighter at Smeatons ), barbel gear( used on the swale Thursday) and match gear from the match yesterday, blatantly dumped here and there. 2 rod holdalls, a rod sling, seat box, rucksack, bedchair, chair, match carryall and several other bits and pieces needed for a 48hr Trent session, it looks like a badly organised car boot sale. Anyway time I sorted it out! And took the wife out for lunch ( proceeds of delegates match lol).
Eddie.
