Patience is being tested for all of us now. From other posts it appears that Graham has is working on this, and has been for a while alongside his other commitments. This post is not a personal criticism of Graham who does a lot of work for the club but an observation of what most of us believe should have happened from the moment the website was pulled and the decision taken to build a new one. I am not particularly tech savvy and would not be able to build a site of sufficient quality to be fit for purpose. However it is very likely that amongst the large number of forum members there is someone who does this for a living day in day out, or has a friend/relative, who could have had this done by now. With any project is it not put out to tender, quotes obtained, previous work checked, terms and contract agreed, an agreed completion date and a penalty clause for late delivery ?
Can a completion date be published for the information of all members or the task assigned to a web builder with the time and ability to deliver ?

Just a thought....... would it not have been possible to leave the "old" website functional whilst developing the new improved version? Then when all were satisfied as to the new one being sound replace the late lamented version.

In hindsight it maybe was not a good idea to shut one down before the new one was up and running, but hey these things happen, especially when the folk doing the changeover are perhaps a little inexperienced. I'm sure the new site will be available for use before 2017. BOF

Is it me or am I missing something??
Is there still venues missing off the new website? Widdington, Beal and Blacker Dam?

Haven't finished the venues as yet, new copy needed and pictures, had to go live to accommodate the paypal membership.
Blacker Dam will not appear as it has been relinquished with immediate effect
