not fished it for years but as far as I know there is a layby and they used to be a hole in the wall stile into the field then down to the river hope that helps.

Hi Geoff
You park in the layby JB mentioned. Climb over the wall via the steps. Walk straight across the footpath and as you approach the top of the small hill you will see the river in front of you some 200 yards away. You can either walk down the hill and turn left over a fence ( there's a nice float peg runs down the side of the island with a good variety of fish in ) or turn right and follow the river upstream , this takes you towards the top island.
Good luck if you go mate. I

Now Geoff was that your black BMW there yesterday ? I went down myself stick float and red maggots really pleasant afternoon had some nice Dace biggest around 6oz and the average 3 to 4oz managed to winkle a nice grayling out as well ,the fish were coming out every other run down really enjoying it then I had this horrible feeling I hadn't locked the car up fished on for another 10mins but couldn't settle so that was it up the hill past the cows and young calf's didn't see the bull you was talking about Geoff not disappointed like, but I was when I got back to the car , yes it was bloody locked ,oh well enjoyed the fishing just a pity it only lasted a couple of hours.
