Have you seen the advice and threads on the need to rest barbel in the landing net for ten minutes or longer after landing them, especially following the fight when your fish was showing signs of exhaustion ?

Anyone had any joy with the frolic dog biscuits? Well. Steve, the England Wales match is going nowhere so thought I'd Google the frolics dog biscuits while I finish my Guiness off Do you know something we don't ? The last time I used dog biscuits was for catching carp off the top at Sunrise lakes at Spofforth . . . Are these sinking dog biscuits or do they have some othe Barbel catching properties ? Oooops , best go , Wales are on the attack and the wife's got the tele diddler in her hand

Oooops , best go , Wales are on the attack and the wife's got the tele diddler in her hand Yes they are sinking "polo" mint shaped Ie hole in the middle but bigger sort of boilieish texture doesnt fully break down quickly but leaks flavour, meaty so barbel like em can be enhanced by flavouring or soaking In oil. Easy to hair rig by cutting a small piece out of the "ring" and slipping the resulting horse shoe shape into a bait band. Work on the Trent for sure!!!!! Hope that makes sense....... you take care of that diddler Dave .
