what the f**k is this all about? I have just purchased my year book along with my night permit for Catterick!! How is this going to affect this???
I would like to know why this has happened and what this means for the new members formed in the so called Catterick carpers ie, privelages over normal members? Also has this been passed through the commitie.
Can somebody please enlighten me, as this is mindboggling

Carpman
As you've got your tickets, see me at Catterick, I'll answer any questions you have regards this. It would be good to put a face to the name.

This new club !( a few questions that I require clarity before I would consider renewing my membership ) What is the difference between a member with a night permit and a Catterick Carper. Is there to be a stocking programme implemented? Are all the rumours of specimen lakes being turned into match lakes going to be verified or otherwise.? Is the weed situation getting priority( No treatment for last 2 seasons ) Why are the fish in the specimen lake losing weight year on year ?

Kevan,
Leeds themselves have no plans to stock Catterick which is one of the reasons for the club as money from membership will go into a stocking program of our own. The weed was sprayed last year, however it seems they must've used fertilizer. It will, this year be dealt with. The reason for the fish in Howe lake being underweight is a two fold reason. Firstly, there is such a massive amount of silver fish in there that are due to be removed by the environment agency next month that get to every bait and bit of natural food before the carp. Secondly, the lake is understocked resulting in no competition for the carp and as a result they only feed when hungry. New stock being introduced will only have a possitive impact as it will provide competition for the existing stock causing them to feed. Removing the silver fish will also have a positive effect. I've had it confirmed by Leeds that the specimen lake will now remain as a specimen lake and will not be changed.
Call me on 07707 18 17 12 for more details as to other benefits open only to Catterick Carpers members.
Mark, Catterick bailiff.

the silver fish were moved at beginning of march and they were only moved to other lakes within the complex. Darren
