Had a walk on A/C first peg i get to Mick Doyle end peg opposite bay seven skimmers chucking to the middle with a feeder and full dendra, proper pipe n slipper fishing. Stan Jeffreys had three skimmers and a few silvers on the pole about peg 52 and Steve Simpson had half a dozen lobby chub and some billys. 1st Mick Doyle 15lb-04 2nd Stan Jeffreys 11lb-10 3rd Steve Simpson 9lb- 10

Nice pic frim, you lads showed us Allerton lot how to do it mate, Steve's chub catch was most impessive as nobody fishes tight up to far bank for the Chub anymore but i bet they will do now Just wished it fished better as quite a few new faces, at least rain held off ;D That bay where Mick was is full of Bream/Skimmers but influx of cold water prob made em a bit grumpy

hi guys,it was a fair old hike up to my peg,near a bridge thats not in the pic,its the first match ive fished on that bit of canal,when you think what the rivers have been like with the floods it fished great,the aire runs into the cut higher up and colours it up with flood water but it was quite clear down there,the locals say its the worst its fished for years,well i thought it was pretty good but babs n tony didnt get much,we will be back though.stan..maybe this weekend if the rain comes back.
