The Club Committee have decided to open to members and none members the use of the car park.
The charge for every car user who uses the car park will be £2 per day.
The car park is open from 6am until 6pm Monday to Friday.
Many Thanks
Bob Waters. President of The Leeds Anlgers Club (social side)

How much money is taken from our yearbook to be a social member? I dont use the social club and never will. Can year books be bought without this forced membership to something that has no benefit to me or thousands of others.

If you think about it 'guesting guest' the club needs the club as a HQ and is a facility that CAN be used by all members, your membership costs little over £40 and you get a lot for what you pay for to be fair!

If the money earn't from car park charges is put back into the fishing club, not the the Anglers' Club, I think it could be good for everyone, as everyone member would benefit...

This is a rather belated comment, but the charge for parking is aimed at those who work in the centre of Leeds and use it for that reason. After 6 p.m. there is no charge for anyone using the club. Hope that clears up any misconceptions.

Hello Bob, I work at St. James's and we run a number of courses which delegates come from all over the country, so cheap parking would really help out these guys.
How does the parking system work?? Is there someone there to pay the £2 to in the morning? How secure is the facilities? Do we need to contact you firs or can these guys just turn up and park there?
Many thanks.

Two quid? That close to the city centre the place would be full before sunrise. Try parking in one of the car parks in Leeds and and you will see what I mean. By all means charge members a reduced rate who are using it for work but get real even £8 a day for city parking is cheap as chips. However you would need a hut and a lame parking attendant with a walking stick and the authority to shout "You Can't park there mate, more than my job's worth"!!! as they have in every car park in the country.
