I am thinking of going pike fishing at pool on the wharfe could anyone please advise which venues and where to park ,all information would be very much appreciated.

You can park by the river down castley lane. Some deeper water down there too. You can also park on the side road by the fence opposite the petrol station. Don't park on the main road. Let us know how you get on.

I know its not the wharfe but worth a mention for the pike lads, a couple of hours on the Aire fishing for dace the other week, didnt catch many dace but had some fun with this after it took a fish on the retrieve. Paul Clarke holding my fish as usual   we didnt fish for long and lost another two, one of them a good un, we watched others striking for fish so there was a few there, well worth a look if you dont want to leave Leeds, pegs fished just above weir on the new river rothwell pit. maps.google.co.uk/maps?t=h&hl=en-GB&ie=UTF8&ll=53.765612,-1.478852&spn=0.001738,0.003482&z=18 |
