I last fished Knotford about 35 years ago, but am about to start going again and was wondering if anyone had any info about the Perch population there. The sort of info i was after was, are there plenty about, general size. any big ones caught and also the best areas to target them. I would appreciate any info as i have tried on the Wharfe behind Knotford and have managed one to 2lb 8oz but they are few and far between. Any info would be greatly appreciated, as i know it is a big lake and it would be great if someone could give me the heads up on where to start targeting them. Thanks in anticipation. Percher

A couple of us had a daft two hours last summer fishing a whip and had over twenty pounds of little perch, a fish a chuck up to 6oz, never saw a proper one but they must be there if that amount of little uns are present.
