Is the Aire at Thwaite mill producing any decent fish at all? Either on the feeder or float?

I haven’t been this year but last year it was nearly a fish a chuck on the maggot feeder, funny thing was every time I fished there the bites died after 13:00. Nothing big but plenty of variety with Trout Dace Roach and small barbel.

Cheers stormchaser..........just had a little gander around thwaites and seen more fish above the first weir than on the club waters so I might do a bit of roving between the two waters........a few chub OR big roach surfacing.

I was above the weir today......on the swing tip in the morning with hemp and bread a cage feeder and sonubait mussel soft hook pellet and changed to my avon float with chopped worm and pinkies......great day, never had such a good result on a slack paced river before. Just an arse for me to get there as I have to get a bus into town and walkvia the armourarmouries.

Just taken the dog for a walk down there and the canal looks like its fishing well, a couple of blokes were pulling some nice roach out. One part looks unfished and its an old man’s peg so I may give it a go next week for a couple of hours.
