you go on about not paying for night fishing and yes night fishing is now allowed on some Bradford no1 lakes but only kirklees lagoon 20 permits only and knotford knook fishery 50 permits only, these cost £50.00 each plus you must be in receipt of a second rod permit which cost £14.00. If you advocate going to change rules at AGM does that mean you wish to pay for a second rod permit or would you be increasing the cost of a Leeds night permit You don't have to have a second rod permit to night fish No.1 waters. Allowing night fishing is firstly down to landowner permissions. Night fishing is working well at the moment on No.1 waters because of the night bailiff's keeping order. The restricted numbers of anglers for No.1 waters is to control the impact on the two lakes by night fishing. Also, 48 hours max pitch. Wakefield's night fishing on some lakes was stopped this year by the landowner (Wakefield Council) because of litter and 4x4's damaging the area by so-called night anglers?

I agree that being allowed to fish until around midnight would be a great idea....after a long red hot summers day its when dusk falls that the big uns feed. The river can go dead after around midnight anyway as im sure some of you lads will know from experience! The best time if the river hasn't produced during the day is usually first hour before and after dusk and same again either side of dawn so fishing right through the night could be avoided if fishing till midnight and an hour before dawn was allowed. Not so sure about the night fishing permits idea-i agree it could cause problems however im not against it entirely. Thanx, Graeme.
