Or alternatively newmembers can just do the opposite to you and instead of being spoon fed information get yourself down to the interested venues and speak to the regulars! Surely the best way to find out information quickly, least then you can also see the lake before even attempting to wet a line! Stormchaser I am glad you found your information, but I believe that in the future approaching it in the correct manor would be a little more beneficial . . . Get down to some of the clubs great stretches on the river and some of their great stillwaters and have a look! You maybe surprised how approachable people are! Miller

Have Leeds bought Helperby?, i was under the impression it was on a short lease..Stretches of rivers sold may never come round again, ponds and lakes can be dug, just my opinion

Craig, are you suggesting people should actually try to fish a water to find out what's in it?! you're clearly from Middlesbrough as that's not how it's done mate...
It's easier and quicker to ask people and if the answer isn't what you want to hear, then just don't fish there....easy
In all seriousness Stormchaser, I did say for you to ask away...didn't get any thing back though...did I?

Dan I know you take pride in attempting to mug me off . . . . but . . . . if you actually read my post through you will see that I suggest people go for a walk to their potential venue and speak with people who fish it, who maybe don't access the internet. . . I suggest that members will be happy to point someone in the right direction etc . . . . please read posts before posting you fairy

Young Craig...I wasn't attempting to mug you off at all, in fact I was suggesting that maybe your reasonable, very reasonable in fact idea of getting to the lake, river, whatever and fishing or asking the "locals" is maybe something that some people don't in fact want to do.
They want all the the info handed to them on a plate....
Get off your high horse and cheer the hell up!! ;D ;D
P.S How's this wrist this morning? Do you reckon you'll still be out tomorrow night?

Harsh, harsh, harsh.
Graham is a good bloke who when I have spoken to him in the past has been really good with any requests or questions I have raised with him.
I think that taking swipes at the club is fine but come on, having a go at someone who gives up their time in order to help the club is just crap.
Get a grip of yourself, as I say by all means if the club has done something wrong to upset you then raise your concerns but going about it the way you are, like children is not right.
